Insurance Update

 

To our Valued Patients:

If our text directed you to this page, then we are letting you know that very soon we will not be in network with your dental insurance carrier.

First and foremost, we want to thank you for trusting us with your dental care. It has been a true privilege to treat you, and we are deeply grateful for the relationship we’ve built with you over the time you have been with our practice.

We are writing to share an important update regarding our insurance networks. After careful consideration and a thorough review of our practice, we have made the very difficult decision to step away from a select few dental insurance networks, which includes your current provider.

Rest assured, any appointments you have scheduled with us before your insurance end dates do remain completely unchanged, and we look forward to seeing you as planned. If you do decide not to come to your last dates, please let us know 24 hours in advance.

Why We Are Making This Change

Our primary commitment has always been, and always will be, to provide the highest standard of dental care. Unfortunately, over the years, the reimbursement rates from certain insurance companies have simply not kept pace with the rising costs of running a modern, high-quality dental office.

To continue using the best materials, maintain a state-of-the-art facility, and to spend the dedicated time required for your appointments, we found that staying in-network with these specific plans is no longer financially viable for our periodontal office.

We Don't Do This Lightly

Please know that this was not an easy choice. We value you immensely as a patient and would love nothing more than to continue being your dental home. You could choose to stay as a self-pay patient. This would mean that you pay for our services yourself at our normal self pay rates. You can then send a claim to your insurance yourself IF they accept out of network providers. They may pay all, or some, or nothing. You remain responsible for the full amount. For most general dentistry patients, this is not an ideal use of your insurance care.

For periodontal patients, you can either find another periodontist in your network or you may choose to see us as self pay. These may be the situations where you don't want to put money first as a consideration. We can't make this choice for you, but we are here to answer any questions. 716-882-3777.

Transitioning Your Care

We completely understand that this network change may mean you need to transition to a new, in-network dentist. If you need to make that choice, we respect your decision entirely and want to make your transition as seamless and stress-free as possible.
